It thrives best in light shade to bright sunlight but not direct sunlight.
It grows well in moist, well-drained, rich and slightly acidic soil.
Water well during the growing season and always keep the soil evenly moist but never allow your plant to sit in water. You can allow the top 1 inch of soil to dry out between each watering. Reduce watering in winter.
Fertilize monthly during the growing season.
It can be easily propagated by spores which can take between one and three months to germinate. Occasionally, these ferns
produce basal offsets which can be detached from the parents, potted up and treated as mature fern.
** Last pics show the plant bigger with the trunk.
